From what I've seen on tv and the few parents I have seen, children seem to be a time consuming and demanding job(which I salute the readers who are parents) so I can't imagine finding time to “make babies”. Not saying that it's impossible. Just find it interesting and kinda funny. "But I’ve been resting cases. And writing just to erase this. It used to just seem so basic.
